Olivia Miles Educational Fund

On May 27, 2023 Olivia Nicole Miles played a t-ball game, visited with family, and rounded out her fun filled day with a shopping trip. Around 9:30 pm that same evening, Olivia and her parents were hit head on by a drunk driver going 25+ miles over the speed limit. Olivia didn’t stand a chance with the impact and at 10:00 pm her parents were told their daughter didn’t make it. In honor of Olivia, and the bright light she was in the world, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) New England established the Olivia Miles Educational Fund.

The Olivia Miles Educational Fund was created to remove any financial barriers that schools, community organizations, and youth groups, might be facing in order to bring the educational content of MADD’s highly acclaimed – Power of (Youth) Programming to the younger generation. The Power of (You)th Program helps youth explore the short and long-term impacts of underage drinking, including how it damages their brains and the long-lasting social consequences through interactive presentations delivered by certified facilitators. More than 10,000 people, including children, lose their lives each year as a result of someone making the wrong decision to drive after consuming alcohol/ drugs.
